It's Girl Scout Cookie time! Girl Scouts across northern New Jersey will be honing their business skills as they participate in the annual cookie sale, the nation's premier entrepreneurial program for girls. Girl Scouts enjoy the fun activity will earning proceeds to fund trips and program activities. Girl Scout cookies have paid the way for many troops to enjoy a variety of program activities and trips. Some troops have even visited Europe, Mexico and Savannah, Georgia on cookie proceeds. The Girl Scout cookie program is designed to help girls: Become entrepreneurs, Learn money management, learn planning and goal-setting, develop a marketing plan, be successful and build self- confidence. Girls will be selling eight varieties: Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils, Thank U Berry Munch, Dulce de Leche, and Lemon Chalet Cremes; at a cost of $4 per box.
