Summer Day Camp continues to be a very popular “place to be” for girls 5-14. The girls enjoy camping, outdoor cooking, hiking, environmental programs, new friendships with the addition of swimming, the Challenge Course and pony or horseback riding.

Want to explore in a stream? Experience the Low Ropes Challenge Course? Improve your swimming skills? Learn horseback riding? Girls going into grades 1-10 can do all of these things and so much more at Girl Scout summer day camp.

All three Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey facilities are accredited with the American Camp Association comply with GSUSA and New Jersey State Dept. of Health regulations. All swim lessons are provided by certified lifeguards meeting American Red Cross standards. Camp fees include transportation to and from the camp, with bus stops in a number of towns around northern New Jersey.
Camp registration is currently accepted by mail at any of the three service centers. Walk-in registration opens Feb. 16 at any of GSNNJ’s three service centers in Paramus, Randolph, and Riverdale. |

| Jockey Hollow Girl Scout Camp, which sits on 212 pristine acres in Mendham Township, NJ is the setting for day camp in summer and troop camping throughout the year. All of these fun opportunities await girls after a recent $4 million camp improvement project. | ||||||

The troop house is primarily used for troop camping in the fall, winter and spring. In the summer it is used for day camp activities. |
